Within the scope of the IHE mission, IHE Europe will hold the annual Connectathon at the Stazione Leopolda in Pisa from April 11 to 15, 2011. The IHE Connectathon is a 5-day event which main purpose is testing the interoperability and connectivity of health-care IT systems.
Destination Pisa
Pisa is a city full of history, both artistic, cultural and scientific. Although Pisa is known worldwide for its Leaning Tower (the bell tower of the city's cathedral), the city of over 87,500 residents contains more than 20 other historic churches, several palaces and various bridges across the River Arno. The city is also home of the University of Pisa, which has a history going back to the 12th century.
